‘As many residents will know, rehabilitation work on Jakes Gerwel Drive is currently under way as part of the City’s commitment to keep Cape Town moving and improving this important route. To reduce the impact on traffic during the week, our teams will carry out some of the work during the course of Sunday. The intersection of Voortrekker Road and Jakes Gerwel Drive will remain open in all directions,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Councillor Rob Quintas.
The work will include asphalt repairs at the Jakes Gerwel Drive and Voortrekker Road intersection.
